When you register an account or interact with the platform, we collect your name, email address, and optional profile picture. For store owners, we collect verified merchant details such as store name, address, operating hours, and business email. We also securely store item listings, reservation activity, and verification codes.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to facilitate marketplace operations, connect shoppers with verified local stores, schedule 48-hour pickups, and process customer support requests. We do not use your personal information for intrusive tracking.
3. Data Sharing & Privacy
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Store contact details (address, hours, and store name) are made visible on your storefront to help customers locate your store for pickups.
4. Infrastructure & Security
Gemira utilizes Google Cloud Firebase for database and authentication hosting, Cloudflare Pages for CDN security, and Cloudinary for media asset delivery. These providers comply with international security and privacy standards.
5. Account & Data Deletion
You can request to delete your account, listings, and associated data at any time via the "Delete My Account" option located in your Profile settings.
